Removal Request: Epstein Files Search Index
Yirah.fi maintains a full-text search index of the Epstein Files in the interest of investigative journalism and public accountability. At the same time, we recognise that the archive may contain information whose public availability may cause harm to victims of crime.
If you are a victim or legally represent one, you may request the removal of your information from the search index. Removed documents will no longer appear in search results, direct lookups, or via direct links.
How to submit a removal request
Send an email to efta@yirah.fi and include the following:
- A description of your standing (victim personally or legal representative)
- The EFTA reference numbers of the documents to be removed (e.g. EFTA00285064)
- A brief description of the basis for your request
If you do not know the exact EFTA numbers, describe your situation as clearly as you can. We will help identify the relevant documents.
What happens after your request?
We will acknowledge receipt without delay. We then identify and verify the named documents, add them to our blacklist, and confirm the removal to you or your representative. Processing typically takes place within one business day.
Confidentiality
Every request is handled in strict confidence. We do not publish information about removal requests, the identity of those who submit them, or the contents of removed documents.
