Jeffrey,
I spoke to two duty managers at JFK, they want us to preclear in St thomas,. Since customs in St thomas is open and
available for preclearance, JFK customs Officer Black whom I just spoke told me they never clear st thomas aircraft in
Islip, I told him we have done this in the past, but SIT customs was closed last time, they are un-believably stubborn and
don't know the rules, Frustrating, I will call again after lunch and speak to another agent.
