, The eSafetysCommissioner's (eSafety's) primary role in dealing with cyberbullying complaints is to assist with
the rapid removal of cyberbulltnamateSeted at Australian children, on social media services.
Please be aware that eSafety, therefore, has no legislative power to investigate adult cyber abuse
complaints, formally. However, we do work to guide people where we can and provide advice on what they cart
do themselves.
In the most serious cases, we will use our existing relationships and escalation pathways with social media
services to effect take-down of harmful material that is considered to be serious cyber abuse in nature or,
where required, we will refer the matter to law enforcement.

I write in response to your letter dated 31 December 2019, enclosing a packa e of
documents relating to your complaints - use Ft-Astir:awe
I have reviewed your correspondence and the associated documents. I understand
that your primary concern is thafiemployees of SA Health allegedly stole your
business development plans in Port Pine between 2007 and 2011.*
While I appreciate receiving your correspondence, I am unable to investigate this
matter as it falls outside of my portfolio responsibilities. Matters relating to SA Health
fall within the portfolio responsibility of the Minister for Health and Wellbeing, the Hon
Stephen Wade MLC. You may wish to raise your concerns with Minister for Health
and Wellbeing directly. You can write to his office at GPO Box 2555, Adelaide SA
5001.
I have not referred your correspondence to the Minister for Health and Wellbeing in
the usual course given your reference to your complaint to the Office of Public
Integrity. I remind you that section 54(3) of the Independent Commissioner Against
Corruption Act 2012 prohibits the disclosure of information that is connected to a
matter that forms or is the subject of a complaint under that Act, except in very limited
circumstances.
suggest that you consider obtaining independent legal advice in relation to these
matters. The Legal Services Commission of South Australia provide a free advisory
service on most legal matters. The service is available by calling 1300 366 424 or
(08) 8436 3555.
I also note your comments about the decriminalisation of sex work in South Australia.
The Statutes Amendment (Decriminalisation of Sex Work) Bill 2018 was introduced
into Parliament by the Hon Tammy Franks MLC. The Bill failed to receive the votes
required in the House of Assembly on 13 November 2019. While I respect the views
of my Parliamentary colleagues, it is disappointing that the Parliament denied the Bill
passing to the Committee Stage. - Acgees 3,4 rTH TI-tC Stu- aeiNce

In my view, the practice of the sale of sex has existed since time immemorial, and.will
continue to exist without the passage of the Bill through the Parliament.
Unfortunately, the practice will occur without the protections that could have been
afforded to sex workers under the Bill. Sex workers remain in a position where their
health, welfare and safety is a risk and where they may be prosecuted for their work.
_I will consider any new legislation to decriminalise sexwork that may be Piga_
before the Parliament in the future.
. Thank you for raising your concerns with me.
Yours sincerely

From 1985 to 1989, Gillard served as President of the Canton branch of the Labor Party.{6) She
stood for Labor preselection in the Division of Melbourne prior to the 1993 federal election, but
was defeated by Lindsay Tanner.[261 At the 1996 federal election, Ward won the third position on
Labor's Senate ticket in Victoria., behind Robert Ray and Barney Cooney.[~7E
 However, on the
final distribution of preferences she was defeated by Lyn Allison of the Australian
Democrats T293[3°1
In 1996, Gillard resigned from her position with Slater & Gordon to serve as chief of staff to John
Brum.hy, at that time the Leader of the Copposition in Victoria.E4R3S1 She was responsible for
drafting the affirmative-action rules within the Labor Party in Victoria that set the target of pre-
selecting women for 35 per cent of "winnable seats". She also played a role in the foundation of
EMILY's List, the pro-choice fund-raising and support network for Labor women.[32]
Gillard has cited Welsh Labour politician Aneurin Bevan as one of her political heroes.f2-41
Member of Parliament (1998-2007)
Gillard was first elected to the House of Representatives at the 1998 federal election representing
Labor, a safe Labor seat near Melbourne, replacing Barry Jones who retired. She made her maiden
speech to the House on ii November 1998.(331 Glllard was a member of the standing_ committee
for Employment, Education and Workplace Relations from 8 December 1998 to 8 December 2001,
in addition to Aboriginal and Tones Strait Islander Affairs from 20 March 2003 to 18 August
2003. Within the joint committees, she was a member of the Public Accounts and Audit from 8
December 1998 to it February 2002, in addition to the Native Title and the Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander Land Fund from 20 March 2003 to ii August 2003 J61
Shadow Minister (2001-2007)
After Labor's defeat at the 2.001 federal election, Gillard was elected to the Shadow Cabinet under
then-Labor Leader Simon -Crean, where she was given responsibility for Population and
Immigration. In February 2003, she was given additional responsibilities for Reconciliation and
Indigenous Affairs.D41 In these roles, in the wake of the Tampa and Children Overboard affairs,
which were partly credited with Labor's 2001 election loss, Gillard developed a new immigration
policy for the Labor Party.M
Gillard was later promoted to the position of Shadow Minister for Health and Deputy Manager of
Opposition Business in the House (to Mark Latham) on 2 July 2oo3.125][35) During this time, she
shadowed Tony Abbott, with the rivalry between the two often attracting attention from the
media.t361 She was later given additional responsibility for managing opposition business in the
House of Representatives by Latham, who had succeeded Beazley as Labor Party leader.LEI

Unfortunately, at this stage, Mall" found it difficult to avail herself for lin assessment
to address the Court's_ queries _about her mental competence to commit the alleged
offences and fitness to stand trial. I would be willing to reassess her for the court once
she has been further assessed and treated for her condition. I trust that the above is of
assistance and would be happy to provide further datificationlf required.

Friends, I trust you will indulge me if I start by sneaking in a
quick family acknowledgement of my niece Dr Jenna
Malone, who is an academic at this university's Waite
Research Institute and her great friend Judy Rathjen, who
is an accomplished woman in her own right and, in a
connected Adelaide kind of way, is our Vice Chancellor's
sister.
I alsiD acknowledge Judy's brother; ice Chancellor, Mr
Peter Rathjen, Professor Jenny Shawr-th"ilinister for
4 Health, the Honourable Stephen Wade nd the` Shadow
Minister for Health, the Honourable Chris Picton.
But most importantly of all, I acknowledge the traditional
owners of the land on which we meet and in the spirit of
reconbiliation, pay my respects to Elders past and present.
Yellaka, thank you for your warm Greeting to Country.
Introduction
The is the second time I have had the privilege of being so
welcomed by Yellaka. The first time was at the recent South
Australian State dinner to celebrate 125 years of women's
suffrage in our State — a milestone to be inspired by.

Please finti you
Our reception staff are available for discussion with you. Please feel free to call us at any time.
What to Expect from your Psychologist :
Your psychologist is interested to meet you and will spend most of the first session finding out about
you, your life so far, and your current situation. Together, you and your psychologist will aim to come
to an agreement about the focus for change. You will draw up a treatment program to treat the
identified issues, and a set of goals for change. You can expect an opportunity to talk and express
your feelings and ideas about your current situation. Depending on your situation you should expect
treatment to take 6 —10 sessions. Your psychologist will discuss this with you. Each session is for 50
minutes.
Confidentiality:
Information that you share with your psychologist will be kept confidential. Your psychologist will
write back to your GP, if you have been referred by a GP. Psychologists are mandated by law to report
any incidences of child abuse or indeed any plan to harm an adult including yourself. Under certain
circumstances your records could be subpoenaed by the court. Please discuss any concerns about
confidentiality with your psychologist.Attendance at your Sessions We ask for your commitment to
your treatment program. It is a courtesy to let your psychologist know well ahead of time if you need
to change an appointment time. Your psychologist will be left with wasted time and it would really
help other clients who are waiting for appointments and your psychologist, if you could, out of
courtesy, inform us as soon as possible if you can't attend. Charges apply to late cancellations.
Cost:
Each session costs $240.00 as a privately paying client. If you have private health cover, you may be
eligible for a rebate, and we can swipe most cards here on premises to claim (any HICAPS providers).
If you are unsure whether you are covered for psychological services, it is best to enquire with your
fund as each person's cover can vary a great deal and we cannot know your level of cover before you
attend.
After hours appointments: Appointments after 5pm incur a $20 surcharge.
Medicare rebates are available if you have a Mental Health Care Plan in place from your GP with a
referral to our practice, or a referral from a psychiatrist. The gap you pay per session after the
Medicare rebates varies very slightly depending on which practitioner you see, but is about $113.

According to his attorneys, Epstein had been advised
to acquire the passport because "as an affluent member of the Jewish faith", he was in danger of
being kidnapped while traveling abroadil941
On July 8, prosecutors with the Public Corruption Unit of the Southern District of New York
charged him with sex trafficking and conspiracy to traffic minors for sex. The grand jury
indictment alleges that "dozens" of underage girls were brought into Epstein's mansions for sexual
encounters.M13-1-2,11a51 Judge Kenneth Marra was to decide whether the non-prosecution
agreement that protected Epstein from the more serious charges should still stand.a9±1
Epstein requested to be released on bond, offering to post
$100 million with the condition that he would also submit to house
arrest in his New York City mansion.(1921 U.S. District Judge Richard
M. Berman denied the request on July 18, saying that Epstein posed a
danger to the public and a serious flight risk to avoid prosecutionia21
On July 23, Epstein was found injured and semiconscious at EN a.m.
on the floor of his cell, with marks around his neck that were
suspected to be the result of either a suicide attempt or an assaultr1981
His cellmate, former New York City police officer Nicholas
Tartaglione, who was charged with four counts of murder, was
questioned about Epstein's condition. He denied having any
knowledge of what happened. Epstein himself said he recollected
nothing.[90199112991[?911 According to NBC News, two sources said
that Epstein might have tried to hang himself, a third said the injuries
were not serious and could have been staged, and a fourth source said
that an assault by his cellmate had not been ruled out. (2231

On August 29, 2019, following Epstein's death io days prior, the case against Epstein was closed

On August 23, 2019, the prosecutor's office in Paris, France, opened a preliminary investigation
into Epstein. He is being investigated for rape and sexual assault of minors under and over the age

view to committing offenses. The prosecutors said that the goal of the investigation is to find
possible crimes committed in France and elsewhere against French citizens.129-31

ACTI0ITY Jeffrey Epstein - Moped's
In March 2005, a woman contacted Florida's Palm Beach Police
Department and alleged that her 14-year-old stepdaughter had been
taken to Epstein's mansion by an older girl. While there, she was
allegedly paid $300 (equivalent to $420 in 2021) to strip and massage
Epstein.1911 She had allegedly undressed, but left the encounter
wearing her underweari9-31
Palm Beach Police began a 13-month undercover investigation of
Epstein, including a search of his home.[7!X941 During the
investigation, Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter publicly
accused the Palm Beach County state prosecutor, Barry Krischer, of
being too lenient and called for help from the FBLE9g1
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) then became involved.
Subsequently, the police alleged that Epstein had paid several girls to
perform sexual acts with him-CM Interviews with five alleged victims and 17 witnesses under oath,
a high-school transcript and other items found in Epstein's trash and home allegedly showed that
some of the girls involved were under 18, the youngest being 14, with many under 16.[95][9.61 The
police search of Epstein's home found two hidden cameras and large numbers of photos of girls
throughout the house, some of whom the police had interviewed in the course of their
investigation.1-231 Adrian Ross, a former model from Poland who became an Epstein assistant,
reportedly removed computer drives and other electronic equipment from the financier's Florida
mansion before Palm Beach Police searched the home as part of their investigation.K The court
documents record that a search of Epstein's residence by Palm Beach Police detective Joseph
Recarey in 2005 uncovered an incriminating Amazon receipt containing books on S&M. The books
he ordered are titled: SM soy: A Realistic Introduction, SlaveCraft: Roadmaps for Erotic
Servitude - Principles, Skills and Tools and Thaining with Miss Abernathy: A Workbook for
Erotic Slaves and Their Owners Pig
A former employee told the police that Epstein would receive massages three times a day.E9S)
Eventually the FBI compiled reports on "34 confirmed minors" eligible for restitution (increased to
4o in the NPA) whose allegations of sexual abuse by Epstein included corroborating details.L9-91
Julie Brown's 2018 exposes in the Miami Herald identified about 8o victims and located about 6o

In May 2006, Palm Beach police filed a probable cause affidavit saying that Epstein should be
charged with four counts of unlawful sex with minors and one count of sexual abuse.(93E1--%1 On
July 27, 2006, Epstein was arrested by the Palm Beach Police Department on state felony charges
of procuring a minor for prostitution and solicitation of a prostitute. He was booked at the Palm
Beach County jail and later released on a $3,000 bond.

later convened a Palm Beach County &rand jury, which was usually only done in capital cases.
Presented evidence from only two victims, the grand jury returned a single charge of felony
solicitation of prostitution 123--61 to which Epstein pleaded not guilty in August 2oo6.1-
