taken from briefcase. Had security cameras in the office, but videos were low quality. 
JE said was not uncommon for him to keep $12,000 or $20,000 in cash in the briefcase.

o After Epstein burglary case, • told Epstein that PBPD didn't have any video 
enhancement technology, JE offered to buy the tech, which cost $50,000. •

tech. Went through the formal donation process, and the department did end up 
receiving the tech.
