When Heaven Closes: Preparations for the Third Tabernacle and the Coming Drought and Famine

The Third Tabernacle stands ready and waiting

In the narrow alleys of Jerusalem's Old City, just a stone's throw from the Western Wall, stands an unassuming building whose interior gleams with gold and silver. The Temple Institute is not a museum but a living testament that history is coming full circle. For thirty-seven years, Rabbi Yisrael Ariel has been preparing what many consider impossible: the construction of the Third Temple¹. Over 70 sacred vessels stand ready, awaiting the moment when sacrificial smoke rises once again from Jerusalem. This is no longer a dream but a concrete reality whose consequences reach every corner of the globe. Yet the Temple will never be built, for as in the Book of Ezra, a tabernacle and an altar are sufficient to carry out this abomination.

In October 2024, the Temple Institute announced a significant milestone. All vessels required for Temple service have been crafted in precise accordance with Torah instructions². The golden menorah weighs 95 kilograms and is valued at over two million dollars. The High Priest's breastplate blazes with twelve gemstones, each representing a tribe of Israel. Sacrificial bowls, knives, and vessels wrought in silver and gold await deployment. Of particular significance is the fact that over 500 young men of the tribe of Levi have been trained for Temple service³. They know the sacrificial rites, understand the rituals, and practise regularly in replica Temple structures.

The intensity of preparation has accelerated dramatically in recent years. Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich declared in May 2025, regarding the takeover of Gaza: "Now we conquer, we cleanse, and we stay"⁴. That same day, Prime Minister Netanyahu confirmed the government's position. This is not a random political decision but part of a broader trajectory in which religious and political objectives converge in a manner unseen for decades. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has made altering the status quo on the Temple Mount official policy of his ministry⁵.

The secret of the red heifers

The single most significant element for the continuation of Temple preparations concerns the red heifers. In September 2022, five red heifers arrived from Texas, meeting the Bible's strict requirements⁶. Byron Stinson, a Texan rancher, and the Christian organisation Boneh Israel funded the $700,000 project. The Israeli Ministry of Agriculture bypassed standard protocols to import the animals as "pets." Although Rabbi Azariah Ariel declared in March 2025 that the heifers were unfit for the ritual, many Temple activists believe this to be a diversion⁷. In reality, flawless red heifers await their moment, hidden from public view.

When the sacrificial smoke rises, heaven closes

As we examine these concrete preparations, we cannot ignore their prophetic significance. Jesus warned His disciples: "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)" (Matt. 24:15, KJV). Many interpret this as referring to a future Temple and its desecration — and indeed it does.

Revelation chapter 11 reveals that on the very day sacrificial smoke rises in the Temple, two witnesses begin to prophesy. They are given power to "shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy"⁸. These two figures, understood to operate in the spirit of Elijah and Moses, proclaim truth for 1,260 days. The world hates them, calls them plagues upon the earth, blames them for its suffering. In reality, they are merely declaring what is: The Temple's sacrificial worship has rejected the perfect sacrifice of Christ.

When we consider the theological significance, we must understand what the resumption of sacrifices truly means. The Epistle to the Hebrews teaches plainly that Christ entered once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption by His own blood⁹. His sacrifice was perfect and final. The sin greater than the tabernacle itself is this: A return to the Old Covenant sacrificial system is a direct declaration that the work of Christ was insufficient. It is the ultimate mockery of God, a denial of two thousand years of Christian witness. What is known is that ultimately no Temple even needs to be built, for the most fanatical Levitical priests and those driving the Temple Institute know that a temporary altar with tent coverings can be erected practically anywhere they choose on the Temple Mount.

History shows that God does not leave such mockery unpunished. In the days of Elijah, heaven was shut for three and a half years because Israel had forsaken the true God¹⁰. The same pattern appears to be repeating. When the sacrifices commence on May 21, 2026, nature's response begins as well. Imperceptibly at first, then at an accelerating pace. Rainfall diminishes, growing seasons shorten, harvests shrink.

Thus saith the Lord GOD
"There shall be no rain in summer, nor snow in winter during the time of sacrifices."

Climate scientists search for explanations. Already at the end of July 2025, the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts revealed a significant truth: Finland had just experienced a record-breaking 20 consecutive days of temperatures exceeding 30 degrees, a phenomenon that shook meteorologists' understanding of how the climate system operates. Meteorologist Joanna Rinne described the situation as exceptional: temperatures of 40–45 degrees were being forecast for Portugal and Spain, pointing to a broader European heatwave that no one could explain.

They speak of climate change, La Niña, shifting air currents, but the reality is a spiritual cause and effect. By forsaking the fountain of living water, humanity also loses physical water. This is not arbitrary punishment but a natural consequence. When we break the spiritual order, we break the physical order as well. Climate scientists are already groping for explanations for this very summer in Finland and Europe, and finding none. God is already giving signs and calling all to repentance.

Three and a half years of drought

The first year through the end of 2026 still appears tolerable, and Europe along with the rest of the world is in a state of denial, refusing to acknowledge the severity. The media speaks of exceptional and localised drought in the Middle East and a temporary phenomenon. Governments reassure their citizens and promise action along with humanitarian aid to the Middle East. Farmers hope for a better next year. In the second year, 2027, concern turns to panic — open, undisguised panic. Global grain yields plummet by a third. Food prices triple. The first hunger riots erupt in multiple countries¹¹.

The crisis escalates faster than expected because its true scale is recognised far too late. By autumn 2026, the UN Security Council convenes in emergency session. In November 2026, a global state of emergency is declared¹². By the autumn, the first European nations begin rationing food and water. Digital registration becomes compulsory for receiving food and water rations. Those who resist are branded "hoarders" and "enemies of society."

We must recognise and acknowledge that EU member states are already preparing for this, as we can see from the sections below, because current weather phenomena have already alarmed decision-makers. Meteorologists are bewildered, as the climate change narrative alone cannot explain even the weather events of today. In truth, the hidden hand behind the scenes is the spirit of the Antichrist, which knows what the Lord has ordained to happen in the last days. The Antichrist exploits every opportunity to bring ever greater numbers of people under his dominion.

The EU's new European Water Resilience Strategy 2025 lays the groundwork for control. The strategy requires member states to digitally register and control all water abstractions. Currently, 81% of water consumption flows through private systems without oversight, which the EU says must be 'corrected'²⁵. The registration obligation covers all daily abstractions exceeding 25 cubic metres: In practice, this means all agricultural irrigation, industrial use, and even larger private households. The Irish model, implemented in August 2024, points the way: all abstractions must be registered within one month of commencing, and volumes above a certain threshold require a licence. Without a licence, water abstraction is illegal²⁶.

The ongoing 'EU Water Infrastructure & Smart Metering for All' initiative requires the installation of smart meters across all economic sectors — agriculture, industry, households. These meters report water consumption in real time to a centralised system. The Drinking Water Directive requires that all water data be submitted to the European Environment Agency (EEA), which publishes an EU-wide overview at regular intervals²⁷. What is particularly alarming is the intention to link water monitoring data to digital identity. When water rationing begins during the crisis, everyone's consumption will already be on file.

Those who use "too much" or have not registered in the system can be easily identified and cut off from distribution. The EU's new water directive even enables criminal liability for unauthorised water abstraction: In the future, it may be a criminal offence to draw water from your own well without a permit²⁸. This real-world picture shows how the infrastructure for totalitarian water control is already under construction, waiting only for a crisis to activate it to full force.

At the beginning of 2027, a decisive shift occurs. The power that the WHO gained through its pandemic treaties bares its teeth. What better justification for total global control than a climate crisis, water shortage, and mounting famine. At the beginning of 2027, the WHO and the UN jointly declare: "Global coordination of resources is the only path to humanity's survival"¹³. As the crisis advances, a universal digital identity is launched, and for the first time since COVID, all cross-border coordinated cooperation is conducted under the authority of the WHO and the UN. The world is divided into ten administrative or resource zones, managed in a coordinated manner with artificial intelligence leveraged at every turn. Finland is known to be one of the most obedient pupils, so here all measures are implemented precisely and on schedule.

Simultaneously, by early 2027 at the latest, all the world's central banks announce spending restrictions to prevent hoarding. The central bank digital currency launched in 2026, operational in both the EU and the United States — each under their respective central banks but jointly governed through the BIS — enables global control. Soon the order comes: a 30-day transition period, after which no one can buy or sell without a digital identifier and registration in the "global solidarity community"¹⁴. Being outside the digital identity system already means, at this stage, near-total exclusion from all of society.

The scale and speed of all this devastation will stun the entire world and Christendom alike, and cognitive dissonance will make it difficult for us to believe any of this is real. Many will be completely paralysed and blindly follow the lead of governments and the world government. Our pandemic experience demonstrated how swiftly fundamental rights can be overridden in the name of crisis. In March 2020, Finland went from normalcy to a state of emergency in four days¹⁷. The Uusimaa region was sealed off, movement was restricted, gatherings were banned. People accepted this because fear was stronger than the longing for freedom. Now the crisis is real, the fear deeper, the measures dramatically more radical. Between 2026 and 2027, the world becomes unrecognisable. Those who resisted pandemic controls as conspiracy theorists find themselves in the same boat as fundamentalists. Hunger and water shortage are far stronger motivators than fear of a virus. People who swore they would never accept a digital pass queue up for one to get water and bread for their children.

A world religion rises from the midst of famine

The reaction of religious communities is especially noteworthy. Initially, different faiths operate in their own silos, distributing aid, water, and food to their own members. As the crisis deepens, this changes. Media and political leaders begin blaming religious disagreements for worsening the crisis. God does not discriminate, they proclaim. A God of love wants all His children fed. The ecumenical movement, which has been building bridges for decades, springs into action¹⁵.

Practical pressure drives religions and states together. Food distribution points are merged. Christians, Muslims, Jews, and others share the same resources, all beating the same drum: we are all on a path toward the same God. Theological differences feel meaningless in front of starving children. First there was hunger in Palestine; now hunger threatens the entire world. Suffering seemingly unites all nations for a moment, and we live through a time of great but false peace. "This is what God desires", the Pope declares in a historic address¹⁶. "We do not worship different gods but the same source of love by different names". Protestant churches, Orthodox communities, even many evangelical congregations join the chorus.

"Rumours of wars" takes on an entirely new meaning at the end of 2026, continuing into 2027 and beyond. Far to the north in Finland, by late 2026 we follow a constant stream of news about riots across the drought-stricken regions and can convince ourselves that this does not concern us. Talk shows debate intensely how many famine and drought refugees Finland can take in, but those in government already know the truth: The drought appears to be spreading further, and climate scientists can neither explain the phenomenon nor predict whether this unprecedented weather pattern will stop. Their models have, however, already produced a forecast that is being kept from the public: If the drought continues spreading at this rate, it will cover the entire planet by 2027, meaning a total collapse of ecosystems.

Simultaneously, by the course of 2027, a de facto single global religious system has formed. It is not called a world religion, because the term would be too provocative. Instead, people speak of the "Common Path" or the "Alliance of Goodness" and of successful global ecumenism. In practice, all religions are forced to participate in the same system. Registration in the global community is a prerequisite for receiving aid. This is not a religious test but a demonstration of solidarity¹⁸.

Resource centres and the mark of the beast

As the crisis deepens, society's infrastructure inevitably collapses. Not all at once, but piece by piece. Aid can no longer be delivered to rural and sparsely populated areas due to ever-dwindling resources, so as conditions worsen, the state carries out evacuations across the country, gathering the majority of citizens into special resource or survival centres — camps. The camps are concentrated near major cities, but ultimately they are concentrated only in southern Finland, where the largest population centres already exist.

In these resource centres — in practice, a new breed of concentration camps, tent and barrack villages — the state is able to manage the feeding, medical care, and above all the control of large masses as efficiently as possible. When desperation is this great, hardly anyone questions it.

Because of the crisis, energy is also extremely rationed and centralised. Energy is supplied only to the most critical points in society, with the majority of remaining energy consumed by water purification and procurement.

Why are the followers of Jesus demonised?

Because those who read the signs, believed the prophets, and listened to the Holy Spirit have prepared for the coming separation. They quietly withdraw from society while equipping themselves, attending to their own everyday affairs. In the eyes of society, those who do not submit and refuse to take the mark raise alarm. In the name of public safety, governments attempt to force the followers of Jesus from their wilderness retreats, from their remote cabins, and to bring their entire families into the resource centres being established in late 2027.

What does the crisis look like for the entire ecosystem?

As nature dies from drought, the trumpets of Revelation begin to sound in concrete reality. We must understand that during the time of Temple sacrifices, the age of the witnesses begins. During the time of the witnesses, the trumpets of Revelation sound from the first through the sixth — this is biblical. Search and measure these things against Scripture, and reflect on these descriptions.

The first trumpet is fulfilled when wildfires born of drought spread uncontrollably: "hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth" (Rev. 8:7, KJV). Ash and charred particles rain from the sky like black hail; a third of all vegetation is destroyed.

The second trumpet sounds over the waters. As water levels drop dramatically, algal blooms explode, turning seas and lakes red — "the third part of the sea became blood" (Rev. 8:8, KJV). Oxygen depletion kills the fish; shores are lined with rotting carcasses.

The third trumpet, "Wormwood," is fulfilled as groundwater becomes poisoned. Drought concentrates minerals and heavy metals, pH levels shift, and water turns bitter and toxic (Rev. 8:10–11, KJV).

The fourth trumpet: the world darkens under wildfire smoke and dust storms. The sky turns murky brown for weeks at a stretch; sunlight dims by a third. Beautiful Finland is unrecognisable — the landscape, with its charred tree trunks, resembles a truly post-apocalyptic scene: dry, black, bleak, dusty wasteland.

The fifth trumpet brings the "locusts": AI-controlled drones and systems that herd people toward resource centres. They are permitted to torment people — not to kill, but to drive everyone to safety "for their own good" through forced relocations over a period of five months (Rev. 9:5, KJV). The sting of the scorpion and the electric shocks from drones shepherd the populace.

The sixth trumpet tells of the chaos of resource wars. The army of 200 million is not a conventional military force but the desperate struggle of starving masses against government armies over dwindling resources. A third of humanity perishes from hunger, thirst, and violence. We receive constant rumours of wars throughout this entire period of drought.

The year 2029 is true horror. No exaggeration — the fulfilment of biblical prophecy. No one questions the measures, because there is no alternative. The words of the witnesses are fulfilled to the letter.

The demonisation of the witnesses

Throughout this entire period, the two witnesses do not merely proclaim — their words testify to the judgements of the trumpets. Revelation 11:6 says: "These have power to shut heaven... and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will" (KJV). This is not symbolism: they declare God's judgement, which is fulfilled through natural cause and effect.

The world misunderstands the connection. The media denounces the witnesses as dangerous anarchists, inciters of the people, cult leaders responsible for the humanitarian catastrophe. In reality, they are merely revealing the cause: Israel's resumption of Temple sacrifices rejected Christ, and therefore heaven closed. They perform no sorcery — the Word of God in their mouths testifies to what was ordained beforehand.

Every trumpet confirms their message:

• Look, fire consumes the lands because you have forsaken the living God!
• The waters turn to blood as in Egypt, because you have not repented!
• Your thirst is but a reflection of spiritual thirst!

People imagine the witnesses possess some magical power, but they are simply declaring what the Lord has shown them will happen and what is written in Scripture. When they say it shall not rain, it does not rain. When they declare fire is coming, it comes. This is not sorcery but the outworking of God's sovereign will.

Attempts to kill them fail, because their work is not yet complete. Fire — the power of God's Word — consumes everyone who tries to silence the truth (Rev. 11:5, KJV).

Let us return to the present day

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, in its unbelief, has been paving this terrible road for years, together with the Finnish Bible Society: The new Bible translation UT2020 systematically stripped Jesus of His divinity, replaced grace with goodness, and turned God into man's servant²⁰. The translation of Romans chapter 13 became, in the hands of these heretics, a tool of authoritarian power. "Everyone must submit to the orders of the authorities and officials" — even though the word "orders" does not appear in the original text²¹. The Church is theologically and structurally ready to serve a totalitarian system, just as it was in the era of Nazi Germany. We must notice and recognise that individual people are not capable of this kind of coordinated action. They are coordinated pawns in an operation directed by the spirit of the Antichrist. These people do not know that they are operating under the spirit of the Antichrist, leading the sheep in their care straight into the arms of the enemy.

2026 is soon

After May 2026, sacrificial smoke rises daily on the Temple Mount as the drought begins. Priests carry out their rituals in precise accordance with Torah instructions. Fanatical Christians around the world admire the beauty of the ceremony, claiming we must study the Torah as Jesus did, proclaiming this to be the religion of Jesus and the people of Jesus! Religious leaders praise the return to roots and the right of the Jewish people to their own faith, since all roads lead to the same God. Meanwhile, fields dry up, harvests shrink, and famine spreads. The connection is obvious to those who have eyes to see, but most refuse to understand.

By the summer of 2027, the world has become unrecognisable, as described above. All commerce requires a personal digital identifier. Cash has effectively ceased to exist. Every transaction is logged, every purchase tracked. Food and water rations are distributed "fairly" to those who have registered in the "solidarity community." Churches and synagogues have been converted into distribution centres — as the people demanded — requiring a digital identifier scan at the door. "This is love in action," declare the religious leaders²².

Those who resist the system have already been driven to the margins by late 2026. They are branded as supporters of terroristic and selfish thinking, dangerous anarchists who threaten the survival of humanity by their very existence. The narrative is nearly identical to what we heard when we refused the COVID vaccines that proved both useless and dangerous. Many of those outside the system are followers of Jesus who recognise the mark of the beast and refuse to take it. They have prepared, but preparation has been criminalised as hoarding and anti-solidarity. Their children are taken into state custody on child welfare grounds, to "ensure the children's well-being." Authorities raid the homes of hoarders and confiscate food supplies for communal use²³.

Traditional Christians are no longer considered followers of Jesus, because the followers of Jesus begin to be spoken of derisively as the Jesus movement or Jesus cult, exactly as was done in the time of Jesus Himself. It is said that a true Christian would not let loved ones suffer, and therefore the followers of the Jesus movement are a danger to all of society and must be isolated and rounded up. Concentration camps become reality once more, but under a different name: This time, people march into the camps voluntarily, because for many it is the only option.

On November 1, 2029, a turning point occurs. The symbolic beast that rises from the abyss finally receives power to kill the two witnesses²⁴. For three and a half years the world has suffered from their "plagues" — in reality, from the truth they proclaimed. Now they lie dead on the streets of Jerusalem, following a successful and "justified" execution carried out by the global community, on public display: This is what happens to all followers of Jesus and all who resist the system. The world erupts in celebration. People send gifts to one another, declare a "day of freedom." The media proclaims: "At last we are rid of these fanatics who caused our suffering!"

For three and a half days the bodies lie in the streets. Cameras stream the scene around the world. Hatred and death unite the world one final time, because the apparent root and origin of all evil has been vanquished together. The two worst anarchists, terrorists, and inciters of the people have been caught and slaughtered like Osama bin Laden.

Then, on November 4, 2029, as all the world watches, the Spirit of life from God enters them. They rise to their feet and ascend to heaven in a cloud. At that same moment, a great earthquake shakes the earth. A tenth of the city collapses. Seven thousand die. All of this, broadcast live, testifies that the false peace and the time of tribulation have ended, that the true horror — the time of God's bowls of wrath — is about to begin, as the Antichrist reveals himself and breaks the peace. In the end, the resurrection of the witnesses issues the final call to repentance, even as the entire world plunges into the greatest fury ever known or ever to come. The three and a half years of drought and famine were small compared to what comes next...

As we consider these events, we cannot help but ask: are we ready?

The signs are clear for those who want to see. The tabernacle on the Temple Mount is about to rise, because even a temporary altar is sufficient. Red heifers are being bred and have already been sacrificed on a trial basis. The political will exists. The global control infrastructure has been built and will go live during 2026. The pandemic showed how swiftly freedoms can be stripped away, with 99% accepting it. The climate crisis is conditioning minds to accept radical measures for our own safety.

The Bible warns: "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh" (Luke 21:28, KJV). This is not a call to passivity but to readiness. The wise virgins prepared; the foolish did not. The difference was not in religiosity but in practical preparation.

Each of us will soon face a choice, already during 2026: Will we accept a system that promises security at the price of freedom, bread at the price of our soul? Or will we stand in truth, even if it costs us everything? History remembers those who chose comfort over truth, but it honours those who stood firm in difficult times.

The sacrificial rites in Jerusalem begin soon. Heaven closes. Famine spreads. Control tightens. A world government and a world religion take shape. All of this is happening before our eyes, yet most refuse to see. They trust in their own human wisdom, in political solutions, in technological salvation. They do not understand that this is a spiritual battle in which physical phenomena are merely reflections of a deeper reality.

By the end of 2026, preparation will already be all but too late, because many obstacles will have been placed in its path. Remember, when you prepare, do not make a spectacle of it. Make sure you and your family have a sufficiently remote place where you can go when the worst times come. It is written that Jesus protects His own, but each of us must do our part before the wilderness journey.

Thus says our Lord, Jesus Christ:

1. "Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

The truth is written in plain sight on the pages of Scripture and in the words of the prophets. Those who seek shall find. Those who knock shall have the door opened to them. But time is short, and the night comes when no man can work. The choice stands before every one of us: to serve truth or conform to the lie, to stand or to bow, to live or to die. For "what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (Matt. 16:26, KJV).
